iLead Youth Leadership Program
iLead, a program facilitated by the Thomasville-Thomas County Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with Tisk Task, offers a distinctive opportunity for high school students, adapted from the J.W. Fanning Institute for Leadership and Community Development at the University of Georgia. Emphasizing leadership skills, effective communication, cultural appreciation, teamwork, conflict resolution, goal setting, and community engagement, the program fosters an environment where students from various schools can interact, learn, and grow together.
Throughout their participation in iLead, students gain insights into the factors shaping our community, laying the foundation for enduring connections beyond the program's duration. It is our aspiration that these relationships will extend beyond the program, with alumni of the iLead class assuming leadership roles within the Thomas County area, contributing to its growth and development.
