Gael Humphries Office Coordinator

A Thomas County native and Thomasville High School Scholars Academy alum, Gael Humphries has always had a heart for community. She earned degrees in Economics and Liberal Studies from Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, where she also helped grow gardens and relationships through the Office of Sustainability.

Since then, Gael has brought her passion for people and place to the City of Thomasville and the Georgia Chamber of Commerce. From summer days at children’s camps to afternoons with local shop regulars, she’s never afraid to follow a rabbit hole if it means making an impact.

At her core, Gael thrives on building community through service, thoughtful conversation, and even a sweet treat from her kitchen. When she’s not out and about, you might find her wrangling her mischievous cat, baking with extra sugar, or tucked away in a coffee shop with a good book.
