Community Impact Awards
The Thomasville-Thomas County Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Southwest Georgia Farm Credit, seeks to recognize member businesses and/or individuals that have made a significant impact in the community over the past year at the Community Impact Awards on February 1st, 2024.
These awards will be based upon contributions to the community, business performance, innovative practices, growth of programs and the organization, volunteer contributions to the Chamber, civic involvement, and leadership.
This year’s awards will be held at the Biscuit Company with cocktail hour starting at 6pm, and dinner and award ceremony at 7pm. Dress is black tie optional.

The Covey Ag Award by Southwest Georgia Farm Credit seeks to recognize a farm or agribusiness within Thomas County focused on cultivating and stewarding one of the following: Ag Education, Row Crops, Crop Science, Poultry, Cattle, Timber Management, Land Management, Conservation.

The Large Business of The Year Award seeks to recognize a Chamber Member business with more than 50 employees and has been established more than one year in Thomasville-Thomas County.

The Small Business of the Year Award seeks to recognize a Chamber Member business with less than 50 employees and has been established more than one year in Thomasville-Thomas County.

The Woman of the Year Award seeks to recognize a Thomasville or Thomas County resident that shows exemplary records of community and civic engagement, working on behalf of charitable organizations and demonstrating impactful professional and personal leadership achievements.

The Man of the Year Award seeks to recognize a Thomasville or Thomas County resident that shows exemplary records of community and civic engagement, working on behalf of charitable organizations and demonstrating impactful professional and personal leadership achievements.

The Non-Profit of the Year Award seeks to recognize an established Chamber Member organization that holds a 501c3 status for 5 or more years in Thomasville-Thomas County. Non-Profit of the Year must show exemplary community support and effective resource development.

The Bob "Hutch" Hutchison Legacy Award seeks to recognize an active Chamber Member business operating for 50 or more consecutive years in Thomasville-Thomas County. Recipient must demonstrate staying power, longevity and ability to adjust to economic climate changes.
